A New Brand of Hospitality

The brand-new Summit Hotel brings a special kind of hospitality to Cincinnati. As the first property opened under the Dolce name since Wyndham purchased the brand in 2015, The Summit has been carefully and thoughtfully designed to nourish the needs of both guests and locals from the ground up.

“We’re all about nourishing the mind, body, and spirit,” says Denise Bayless, Director of Sales and Marketing for The Summit. “We’re creating what we want the future of the brand to look like.”

Guests at The Summit can expect not only fresh, delicious food, but also plenty of options for how and where they’ll take their meals. For guests who prefer a dine-in option, Bayless touts The Market, and indoor/outdoor space with an open-concept kitchen and gorgeous city views.

“The Market is like no other culinary experience in Cincinnati, she explains. “Our open-kitchen concept allows our chefs to cook to order using the freshest locally sourced ingredients. [The Market is] open for breakfast all week for hotel guests and local guests [and] on Sundays for local brunch.”

Lunch and dinner guests can have a cocktail and a perfectly prepared dish at the Overlook Kitchen + Bar, a fourth-floor space with stunning views from the attached outdoor space. “[On the rooftop terrace] we’ll have live music, cozy seating, fire pits … it’s just a really great outdoor area,” says Bayless.

For guests who prefer to take their meals in the comfort of their room or while working in the beautiful lobby, The Summit’s Nourishment Anytime, Anywhere option is a perfect solution.

The Summit is also an ideal spot for corporate and private events, and they extend their vast and customizable dining options to groups who book one of their many event spaces.

“We have a total of 32,600 square feet of meeting space, which equates to nineteen total [indoor and outdoor] meeting spaces,” says Bayless. “All of our rooms come equipped with projectors and screens, ergonomic chairs, and state-of-the-art audio/visual technology. Most of the meeting spaces have doors that open up to the terrace. All of our rooms have natural lighting.”

Catering packages, including the signature Thoughtful Food for Thoughtful Minds menus, are a key element of event planning with The Summit. “We can do complete meeting packages,” Bayless explains. “We also have our Nourishments Hubs. It’s a sophisticated approach to meeting breaks. [It’s] all about being healthy but also delighting our guests, so we offer a variety of beverages and snacks on the hub.”

Guests and locals alike can enjoy the open, bright spaces within The Summit. “We have an art gallery on the property, being curated with local and national works of art. It’s open to the public,” Bayless says. “We also have a very modern library in the hotel with a pool table [where] guests can play billiards, have bourbon.”

The Summit is located at 5345 Medpace Way, Cincinnati, OH 45227. For more information, call 866.898.3567 or visit www.thesummithotel.com.
