Knife Fork Spoon at Peterloon is a series of dinners that benefit partner charities at ticketed events that will be open to the public for an evening of delicious cuisine and live entertainment in the historic Peterloon Estate. On Dec. 9, 2021, Peterloon hosted their second Knife Fork Spoon event which supported the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra. The Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra brings musical delight to audiences through their brilliant and creative performances. Each partnering nonprofit, like CCO, receives a donation from the Peterloon Foundation for a portion of the evening’s proceeds.
The night was a gourmet success. Jeff Thomas Catering created a culinary journey with a menu featuring cuisine that celebrated multiple holiday traditions from around the globe. The talented Belinda Burge, a CCO violist, graced guests with her incredible talent and delightful wit. Paolo A Modern Jeweler also graciously contributed a marvelous Date Night Experience for silent auction. In total, $2,268 was donated to the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra. The evening’s festive décor would not have been complete without the sponsorship of All Occasions Event Rental.
The mission of the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra is to create intimate and transformative experiences that connect the musically curious. Their vision is to be an incubator of musical curiosity. The Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra’s ensemble’s smaller size allows guests to get closer to the music and the musicians. This helps to melt the invisible divide between the audience and the musicians, connecting you to art in a new way.
The Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra achieves their mission by performing in unexpected venues with nontraditional mashups and collaborations. The Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra presents a musical experience you won’t find anywhere else!
As a partner to the nonprofit community, it is important for Peterloon to help share the good work charitable organizations are doing.
“In addition to being a special place for nonprofits to host their events at a significantly reduced rental rate, we are always looking for ways to help share their message. One way we do this is through highlighting our partners through our social media, website and marketing,” says Jamie Rogers, executive director at Peterloon.
“We will continue to find more opportunities to be an ally to the nonprofit community and encourage organizations to reach out and learn more about how they can partner with Peterloon.”
Peterloon would love for you to attend a future Knife Fork Spoon dinner event. A full calendar of events can be found on the Peterloon website. These festive and themed affairs will be a fantastic opportunity to enjoy an amazing evening out with friends and family while experiencing the stunning and historical beauty of Peterloon and supporting valued local charities.
