The Cincinnati Art Museum is the place for fun and creativity this summer! Delve into art with eight weeks of summer camps packed with exciting art projects, gallery games, indoor and outdoor activities and more. Each week, children will discover all aspects of visual art through various themes and activities taught by highly skilled educators and museum staff. Designed for children ages 6-12.
Eight weeks of art and adventure topics include classic art traditions, the basics of design elements, contemporary art, ancient art, exploring animals through art and more! Take a trip around the world, create a comic and learn new methods of storytelling or learn to walk like an Egyptian. Each week is a new adventure! Campers’ accomplishments will be celebrated at a week-ending exhibition held for family and friends.
Registration is now open and sessions fill up quickly! Members: $175 (per child/week) and General public; $225 (per child/week). Registration fee includes all art materials and must be paid in full to reserve a spot. Campers must bring own nonperishable lunch.
Camps will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday beginning the week of June 13 – the week of August 8. No camp will be held the week of July 4. Please call 721-ARTS or visit www.cincinnatiartmuseum.org/summercamp to register.
