The Children’s Home of Cincinnati is pleased to announce today that it has elected a new Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Lawrence A. Glassmann, Esq. of The Glassmann Law Firm. ''Larry Glassmann brings years of experience and service, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the many ways The Children’s Home can continue to grow its service to at-risk children and their families,” said John Banchy, CEO. “Larry’s proven strategic vision and his ability to strengthen the mission and productivity of the organization are perfect attributes for his position as Chairman,” Banchy added.
Amidst a varied legal career over the last 30 years, Glassmann has been a litigator at one of the largest law firms in Cincinnati, Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Cincinnati College of Law and Salmon P. Chase College of Law, and Senior Vice President and General Counsel of a publicly-traded pharmaceutical company. Currently, Glassmann has a specialized practice devoted exclusively to resolving disputes, having successfully settled thousands of lawsuits involving hundreds of millions of dollars for clients worldwide. He is a graduate with Honors from The Ohio State University College of Law and a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Cincinnati. Glassmann is a long-time resident of Indian Hill and has served with distinction in a number of charitable endeavors, including his current role on the board of the Taft Museum. In addition, Glassmann is a member of the Board of Directors of Aprecia Pharmaceuticals Company.
