At the heart of the Peterloon Foundation is the desire to be a champion for local nonprofit organizations. The foundation’s primary function is to serve as a unique venue where qualified charitable organizations can host their events at Peterloon. When philanthropists and patrons of the arts, John J. and Irene Emery, were building their family home, Peterloon, they intentionally designed it to include large open rooms and ample outdoor space ideal for hosting musical performances and fundraising events. Established in 1979, the Peterloon Foundation has helped numerous nonprofits through events and charitable giving.
Knife Fork Spoon at Peterloon is a series of dinners that will benefit partner charities. These ticketed events will be open to the public for an evening of fun and deliciousness. Each event will take guests through a culinary journey featuring tantalizing cuisine and tastings, as well as creative cocktails from Cincinnati’s top catering companies. Each guest will be entered into a raffle that will include a gift certificate for the rental for a nonprofit event at Peterloon.
Each charitable organization will receive a donation of the evening’s proceeds. These festive and themed affairs will be an opportunity to enjoy an evening out with friends and family while experiencing the stunning and historical beauty of Peterloon and supporting valued charities.
On Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2021, Peterloon will host Knife Fork Spoon featuring culinary delights and craft cocktails from Jeff Thomas Catering. Event sponsors include All Occasions Event Rental and Paolo, A Modern Jeweler. Ticket sales for this event will benefit Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra.
The mission of the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra is to create intimate and transformative experiences that connect the musically curious. Their vision is to be an incubator of musical curiosity. The smaller Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra ensemble allows guests to get closer to the music and the musicians, connecting guests to art in a new way.
The Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra achieves its mission by performing in unexpected venues with nontraditional mashups and collaborations. The Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra presents a musical experience you won’t find anywhere else!
As a partner to the nonprofit community, Peterloon helps share the excellent work charitable organizations are doing.
“In addition to being a special place for nonprofits to host their events at a significantly reduced rental rate, we are always looking for ways to help share their message. One way we do this is through highlighting our partners through our social media, website and marketing,” says Jamie Rogers, marketing and events director at Peterloon. “We will continue to find more opportunities to be an ally to the nonprofit community and encourage organizations to reach out and learn more about how they can partner with Peterloon.”
Peterloon is located at 8605 Hopewell Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45242. For more information about partnering or scheduling an event, contact Jamie Rogers, marketing and events director, at Sales.Peterloon@gmail.com or 513-485-2543. Visit their website at Peterloon.org.
