As our loved ones grow older, we want them to have the best lives possible. One of the most crucial decisions can be where they will call home. Where can they live happy, independent lives but still find the care they may need now or in the future?
Anthology Senior Living has thoughtfully developed a living experience built upon a foundation of hospitality and care, focusing on the story of its residents in a meaningful way. Their beautiful locations allow an older adult to continue having a vibrant and full life.
With three locations in the Cincinnati area, Anthology offers different living situations that include independent living, assisted living, and memory care. No matter what lifestyle is needed, every team member, from kitchen workers to directors, is committed to making a difference in the lives of others.
All Anthology locations uphold the same core values. Uncompromising care celebrates individuals, empowers connections and lets older adults live their best lives. Yet each site has its own unique personality.
Mason
“We have an extensive activities calendar, hosting both on-site events and off-site excursions around the city,” says Debra Jaspers, director of sales and marketing.
The Mason Anthology location serves Mason and the surrounding areas and has had the same executive director and activities director since it was built. The longevity of leadership and a focus on families have created a thriving culture of care and love.
“The best thing about our community is we are family,” Jaspers says.
A unique aspect of the Mason location is the diverse group of residents from different religious backgrounds. They enjoy the daily social hour with their families and friends. It’s easy to find a beautiful place to be together with two rooftop patios, a theater, a library, and a walking path!
The luxurious amenities include a bistro with formal and private dining prepared by professional chefs, a salon and a barber- shop on site, and concierge services that can arrange for transportation, housekeeping, and any other needs residents might have.
Anderson Township
“The greatest thing about our community here at Anderson is our chef, Patricia. She is from Scotland and so delightful to the residents,” says Patricia Greiwe, director of sales and marketing at the Anderson location.
The residents enjoy all-day dining with an option for an indoor or outdoor experience. “The outdoor dining is a big hit,” Greiwe says.
There’s a very popular happy hour every day at 3:30 p.m., and the beautiful courtyards, residents’ own vegetable gardens, and the nearby shopping round out the overall living experience.
The rooms at Anthology Anderson have different layouts and square footage so that each person and family can find just the right fit for their needs.
“We offer a friendly, beautiful community,” Greiwe says. “We want our residents to continue their life stories with joy, connection and comfort every day.”
Blue Ash
“We are truly part of a self-contained community offering so many opportunities for intergenerational connections for everyone,” says Tom Rotz, executive director at Blue Ash Anthology.
The Blue Ash location is scheduled to start serving residents in late 2021. This brand-new facility is close to Summit Park in Blue Ash.
“It’s part of the master development here, with access to the walking trails, restaurants and shops, a dog park and playground, and all of the activities they have in the park itself,” Rotz says. The park also offers events and activities from concerts to yoga classes to the farmer’s market.
“All this is just outside the front door of our residents’ homes,” Rotz says.
Choosing a home for our older loved ones can be a difficult decision. But at Anthology, they are dedicated to being a caring com- munity that helps residents live the fulfilling lives they deserve.
